Cassava is an agricultural product can be processed into other products such as ethanol, animal feed and cassava starch/flour for human consumption and other. In four districts of Svay Rieng Province large cultivation areas for cassava production can be found which are Svay Tieb, Romeas Heke, Chan Trear and Romdourle district.

Bamboo is a plant easy to grow and the fastest growing wooden plant in the world. Bamboo provides many benefits. Bamboo is a raw material that can be used to produce many kinds of products such as music instruments, furniture products, construction materials, etc. Svay Rieng province has a handicraft training center which processes giant bamboos available in their village into luxurious handicraft products such as a set of bamboo furniture for market demand in order to reduce poverty.
Cambodian Golden Silk was originally made from silkworms that eat mulberry leaves. Svay Rieng province has a vocational training center which had been supported by the Japanese Rajana handicraft organization who trained disabled peoples on sewing, spinning, weaving, designing and processing silk into handicraft products.
