Paillin Cassava

Cassava is a tree originally grown in South Africa. From here it has spread into tropical and sub-tropical regions around the world. Cassava is an agricultural product that can be processed into many other products such as ethanol, animal feed, or cassava starch and cassava flour for human consumption.

The farmers in Pailin imported cassava species from Thailand due to the near border that allows easy transport in either way at harvest time.
