I am please to have the opportunity to endorse the “Cambodian Potential Product Booklet” and am heartened to see this booklet joining the growing number of other publications, designed to support the business community and public at large.

In the fast moving dynamic world of globalization and regionalization today, the competition for foreign direct investment is taking a new dimension, where economic intelligence and business information become crucial for decision-makers.  This publication listed hundred of influential product profiles such as of Khmer silk, marble products, honey, red wine, fish sauce, gem & precious stone, etc.

It really is, Cambodia has experienced highly dynamic economic growth in the past decade, which not only created new jobs, rising incomes and declining poverty rates, but also characterized by an increasing diversity of products.  These products diversity not only attracts an increasing number of investors and traders, but also constitutes the basis for future economic growth.

In order to provide investors, traders as well as consumers both in Cambodia and abroad with a guide to these products diversity, the Ministry of Commerce has taken initiatives to investigate systematically, the “Top Ten Products” in respective of Cambodia’s 24 provinces. The information and data collected during the investigation process are now summarized in this “Cambodian Potential Product Booklet”, which will indicate the sources and locations of such products as well.

I am confident that “Cambodian Potential Product Booklet” will provide the readers with valuable information and offers timely opportunities to traders, producers, importers, exporters and investors.
